An some tests that were done when we first started gettin worried about the side effects of binary bondin showed that breakin the bond would either be fatal, put ya into a permanant coma, or cause enough mental trauma to drive ya permanantly wacko...

So, I'm kinda worried about what that means for us now, stuck back in time like this. And what it means for the Cyke and Scourge of our time.

I can sense the Scourge here... but I know he don sense me. It's all sort of one-way now. I guess it's enough to keep me from goin into shock or jus snappin upstairs, but... long term's a worryin thing.

More worried about Nightstick, really... things between him an Cyke were.. really rough at the start. Cyke really doesn't like organics, an Nightstick, well... he has to deal with the backlash.

The Cyke in our time learned to make exceptions... but...it still messed with Nightstick's head pretty bad before he did.

This one ain't got much of a reason to try. Ain't like anythin bad'll happen to him if Nightstick flips out... Not yet, anyway

Hmm... *takes in the information* Cyclonus isn't bad, you know... Don't make yourself any illusions, though - I fully expect it will take time for you to earn his respect, given that you're an organic alien.

The backlash meant Spasma started gettin sick a lot. Couldn't keep food down. Took some pretty extreme measures to sort things out or the bond itself coulda killed Spaz, and probably Apeface too...

Nightstick stood up to it better, but... the Cyke we knew didn't even make much of a try of it at first. An what he thought of organics, an us in particular, kinda started to wear Nightstick down after a while.

The first year of things was just... pretty bad all around.

So it got better after that, right? *thoughtful look* Maybe since you're in the past from your point of view, you'll have more time getting used to each other... I don't know... no idea if you'll just merge into your future versions when you'll catch up, or if... but that's idle thought.

Yeah, but it took a few proverbial whaps to the head that ain't likely to happen with a one-way bond...

He and Thundercracker were both there when Unicron turned up, and since they both looked the same in that light... *shrugs helplessly* Depending on who you ask, Cyc could have been Thundercracker. The general consensus is that he was 'Warp, though.

... Skywarp's the one I felt wierd around, an Fracas caught a bit of that from seein Thundercracker, so... the guess is probably right...

Although there's some speculation that he might actually be one of the Insecticons...but we don't listen to those people.

An now I've been tossed back to before square one, an THIS Cyke ain't even got the incentive not to step on me that the other one does. I can still sense him, but he ain't bonded to me... yet...
