I returned to the Nexus, and saw another of the future Maverick Hunters. This one was female. I spoke to Dynamo again as well before asking my question.

The first suggestion seems the most helpful. Master Wily does not seem inclined to punish me like he sometimes does the others, so if I should observe and gather evidence and then question him about this?

I don't like it when he hurts the others.

There was Hasenpfeffer still warm on the stovetop in case Proto returned. Otherwise, Blues would put it into the refrigerator in a bit with a note on the fridge door.

He'd been reading lines of code for so long that he almost missed it. Almost.

He'd been right. There was an error in Zero's virus protection.

"Mein Gott, Dad... what have you done?"

Blues frowned at the disks containing what little info he had on the 'Omega Virus'. He had no way to know when Wily planned to give it to Zero, but once he did they were all going to be in seriously deep shit.

Blues realised he might actually need help with this problem. Or at the least he needed to spread a warning.

A few minutes to make sure the connection wouldn't be traced, and a three letter message bounced off dummy e-mails and rerouters to an obscure server. Then he waited.

Except for that, though, he was nice to talk to. Maybe I should try talking to some of the others. And I know Rock's going to pitch a fit when he finds out about that...
