River's standing in the Nexus with a plate of lovely spicy gingerbread cookies in one hand. And an unimpressed look on her face.

"Two questions," she says as Dog sits beside her and whips her feet with her tail. "One: Whose sick idea is it to make cookies shaped like people, and will anyone take these things off my hands? Two: Is that guy who bought my brother's Impala around?"
