Entering the Nexus today, April finds a place to sit down. "So I have learned that there is another in my home universe who has a similar background to my own. Right down to being born of two vampires... and being raised in a Demon dimension."

"But not really an alternate. Because we have differences. And I am trying to embrace those differences that make me unique."

"For those that have alternates, or people who are similar to yourself, what is the thing that makes you unique? I would even like to hear from those who are not in this situation about the thing that makes them special. Why are you unique?"

Tom has his hands in his pockets, his cold dark eyes scanning around for a familiar face. Seeing none -- at least, not immediately -- he decides to have a little bit of a fun. If he's stuck here, he may as well enjoy himself, right? So... fun it is.

But only a little fun. Killing someone would cause a panic and Tom isn't a fan of blubbering idiots.

"Let's say, for example, we're all trapped in a room." Tom gestures with his long pale fingers, his smile thin, but amusing, for the time being. "You hear a scream and someone drops dead. One person in this room is the murderer and you know who it is -- because you are the one who did it."

Tom holds up a finger to his lips in thought, his smile still in place.

"How do you propose you get away with it?"
